In its early stages, the company emerged as a social trading venture in London, with a modest initial capital of around €30-50k. We came on board right from the inception, providing support for strategy, business development, fundraising, design, development, and operational aspects.

As the startup faced significant challenges ahead, it became increasingly evident that a reliable tech partner was an absolute necessity to navigate the complex road ahead.

Solution

Lean Beginnings and MVP Execution

Starting from a blank piece of paper with minimal initial capital, we built the entire product from scratch — strategy, design, and development. We executed a lean MVP approach that validated core social trading mechanics, built the first version of the trading platform, and enabled the company to secure their first institutional investors while growing an early user base.

Rapid Expansion and Product Evolution

As the platform gained traction, we scaled rapidly — both the platform capabilities and the team. We added support for additional asset classes, expanded into new markets, and continuously improved the user experience. Our team took on end-to-end ownership of product releases, introducing CI/CD practices to enable fast, reliable delivery.

Platform Transformation and Ownership Culture

We brought a culture of ownership and engineering excellence into the team. Our embedded CTO and product team led major architectural transformations — migrating legacy systems, modernizing the tech stack, and establishing engineering best practices that enabled the platform to scale confidently toward its IPO.

Scaling with Structure and Agility

In the final phase before the IPO, we supported the company in growing the team to 180+ engineers while maintaining velocity and product quality. We built structured processes for planning, delivery, and cross-team collaboration, ensuring the organization could scale without losing the startup agility that got them there.
