We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager (SDM) to own the successful delivery of software projects while leading and developing high-performing engineering teams.
As the bridge between business and engineering, you will combine technical understanding with strong delivery, stakeholder, and people management skills. You'll work closely with engineers, Product Owners, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards, while continuously improving delivery practices.
Own end-to-end delivery, ensuring predictable execution and successful outcomes.
Plan and manage timelines, priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments.
Monitor delivery progress, resolve blockers, and drive continuous improvement through metrics and retrospectives.
Lead, coach, and support engineering teams to foster collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
Provide regular feedback, mentor team members, and support their professional growth.
Proactively address performance, engagement, and collaboration challenges.
Act as the primary delivery contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
Communicate project progress, risks, and decisions clearly while managing expectations.
Ensure strong alignment between business objectives, client needs, and engineering delivery.
Partner with engineers and technical leaders to support planning, estimation, and technical decision-making.
Identify technical risks and ensure engineering best practices and quality standards are followed.
Maintain delivery reporting, documentation, resource planning, and contribute to improving delivery processes across the organization.
3+ years in software delivery, engineering leadership, technical project management, or a similar role.
Experience delivering software for external clients in a consultancy, outsourcing, or client-services environment.
Previous hands-on experience as a Software Engineer with a solid understanding of modern software development.
Proven experience leading engineering teams and owning delivery outcomes.
Strong knowledge of Agile, SDLC, project planning, stakeholder management, and risk management.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and understand technical discussions.
Strong people leadership, coaching, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Experience as a Technical Lead, Engineering Manager, Solution Architect, or similar.
Experience leading multiple teams or concurrent client projects.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software architectures.
Experience improving delivery processes, engineering standards, and delivery metrics.
Familiarity with AI-assisted software development, automation, and engineering productivity tools.
Experience with project financials, forecasting, resource planning, enterprise clients, or relevant project management/cloud certifications.
